The heating worked like a charm, our room was spick and span, and check-in was a breeze. Slept well after an exhausting day!

Proximity to Gatwick Airport, ground floor room availability, spacious room
Cleanliness could be drastically improved!!! The path to the front door is just neglectful, making luggage handling a hassle!!! A small bathroom layout is frustrating with a poorly positioned sink!!! Noise levels can become quite disturbing!!!

Absolutely loved the homemade yogurt at breakfast—it's a must-try! Plus, there's a cracker of a location near cool eateries like The Foresters and White Lotus Thai Restaurant, which added a real local flavor to our stay.
The whole vibe felt a bit bare and odd, especially when I felt like I was being watched by two blokes in a truck. The room layout was poor with peeling paint, and even basic amenities like a hairdryer were missing. I wouldn’t mind paying a bit extra for a proper setup next time.

Not the best for a solo traveler
The breakfast was decent, they had homemade yogurt that was a highlight. Parking was a bit chaotic, but it was nice to have my truck nearby for a quick getaway.
It wasn’t exactly affordable, but I made it work.

Who knew? Not me!
A nightmarish stay! From the leaking bathroom to filthy carpets, it was an uncomfortable experience. The heating didn’t work, and rude staff refused bedding requests. We were kept awake by a tiny heater after a long argument. A truly unsettling experience, I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

missingWrote a review on Oct 15disgusting bathroomunsettling staff
I absolutely loved being stared at by two men in a truck, just what I expected from a high-end hotel. The bathroom was disgusting, and frankly, I just assumed there would be a hairdryer and proper amenities. I almost considered giving a good review, but the utter lack of basic comforts made it impossible to justify.

We enjoyed our stay with the kids, especially since the location was perfect for checking out local eateries. A highlight was Effingham Park Golf Course, where I managed to squeeze in a quick round while the family rested. The homemade yogurt at breakfast was a tasty bonus.
My wife says that the mattress was too firm for her liking.
